I grew up here...I met Christ here and learned I have a forever Heavenly father. Today, 46 years later that impact still runs deep in my soul. Despite walking away from God as a young adult, he never walked away from me. This home, the Lighthouse Children's Home, was a place of refuge for me at a time when my family was not there for me and is the SOLE reason Christ is SO important to me today. Please consider supporting this girls group home. Other teen girls are currently there, receiving the same message of Christ, receiving love, rehabilitation, and education. They survive SOLEY on donations. Check out their needs list. There are multiple ways to support their mission. You can donate funds, you can send items from Amazon off of the needs list. You can sponsor the education of one of the girls, or you can simply pray for them. If you're in the Tallahassee, Florida area, contact them for a tour and take them some 'goodies".
